e. The body lining of the jacket and
the top ply of the underarm shields
shall be cut from one piece of rayon
lining material. All other rayon
parts may be cut from ends. When
sleeve linings are cut from ends, the
shade of parts and pairs of sleeve
lining shall match.
f. The two parts of under collar,
cut from under collar material, shall
match each other.
g. Cut cotton and polyester stays
for front armhole and shoulder seams
on the bias 3/4 inch wide and 4 ± 1/4
inches long.
h. Cut the cotton interlining cloth
for collar on the bias, in accordance
with the warp directional line on
pattern furnished.
i. Cut the interlining for the
jacket fronts in strict accordance
with the pattern furnished.
j. Cut wigan for the bottom edge of
sleeves on the bias in accordance
with the warp directional line on the
pattern furnished.
k. Cut the polyester/cotton
pocketing.
l. The use of drill holes is
prohibited.

Replacement of damaged parts.
a. Replace at time of cutting any
parts containing damage, such as
holes, or seriously weakening
defects, such as smashes, multiple
floats, and slubs likely to develop
into holes.
b. Replace any parts damaged during
the manufacturing process by needle
chews, which may be expected to
develop into holes, scissors or knife
cuts, tears, holes, mends, or burns.
