24 Seam wool facing to lining assembly.
Finished appearance. The lining
shall be carefully aligned and seamed
to the facing so that in the finished
jacket, the lining shall lie smooth
and flat along the facing without
creases, bulges, overlapping of
excess material, or other defect or
distortion.
a. Position the lining on the wool
facing with the top edges even and
notches matching.
b. Seam the front edge of the lining

inch from the edge. The stitching
shall extend from the top edge of the
facing to approximately 1 inch from
the bottom edge of facing.
25 Sew on identification label.
Finished appearance. The
identification label shall be
positioned so that in the finished
jacket, the label shall be midway
between front and back edge of the
left facing, with the bottom edge of
label approximately 4 inches from the
bottom finished edge of jacket.

26 Assemble fronts.
Finished appearance. All darts and
joining seams shall finish smooth and
flat without pleats, puckers or
gathers. The seams shall start and
finish evenly.

center back.
b. Position the front and side front
interlining on the inside of their
respective front and side front and
fuse (see 3.6.3).
